Burly Bear Yoga™

Everybody is different because every body is different.

Burly Bear Yoga is a speciality class where larger-framed queer man-identified bears can gain peace, calm, increased stamina, flexibility, and stability in a judgement-free zone. This is a trans-friendly space.

No prior yoga experience is necessary, just optimism and a desire to move and feel better in your body.

The Burly Bear Method:

Everybody is different because every body is different.

Different bodies have different requirements for effective movement, flexibility and stability.

Larger-framed individuals may wish to connect to how a larger-framed body moves as compared to those who are more slight-of-frame.

Using the exercise science imparted by a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer with the experience of a trauma-informed yoga teacher, Jace will cater the classes to those who either have never sought to increase stability and range of motion and for those who seek to further develop their kinesthetic and interoceptive awareness.

Burly Bear Yoga seeks to be affirmative, fun, and engaging.

You will get an “owner’s manual for your body” approach so no prior experience is necessary and those with prior experience will also get a lot out of this by reviewing established habits.

This is also a queer man identified space. This includes trans men.

Who is the for?
